Barkes Family

Thorpe Farm has been in the Barkes family since 1936 and since then has grown from a working livestock farm, to an unforgettable destination. Paul, along with wife Jo, diversified Thorpe Farm in 2001 by opening to the public with a farm shop and coffee shop located in Peel House. In 2006, Thorpe Farm introduced their first 5 pitches to the new caravan park. Since then, there has been continuous development at Thorpe Farm. Now there are a number of electric pitches, seasonal, camping and touring pitches as well as static caravans. We are looking to continue this further and make Thorpe Farm a central place for those who are traveling or looking to find a holiday destination.
